The DC resistance test of transformer windings is an essential test item for transformers after handover, major repairs, and changes to tap changers. By measuring the DC resistance of the transformer winding, the welding or connection quality of the leads, the presence of inter turn short circuits or open circuits in the winding, and the good contact of the tap changer can be checked. In the past, QJ44 double arm bridge was used to measure direct resistance, and the measurement current of this type of bridge is in the milliampere range, which requires a long measurement time and low accuracy. In order to change this situation, shorten measurement time, and reduce the workload of testers, the ZZC-1A DC resistance rapid tester is used.
The ZZC-1A DC resistance tester is a high-precision replacement product for DC single and double arm bridges. The instrument adopts advanced switching power supply technology, with a measurement speed more than 100 times faster than that of a bridge. The display part displays the measurement results on a four and a half digit LCD liquid crystal display, and the environmental temperature or test current value on a three and a half digit LCD liquid crystal display. It overcomes the disadvantage of other similar products that display values on LED in sunlight, and also has an automatic arc extinguishing function. This instrument has the advantages of fast speed measurement, high accuracy, intuitive display, strong anti-interference ability, small size, low power consumption, stable and reliable test data, and is not affected by human factors. The instrument is equipped with a rechargeable battery pack (12V), which can be used for both AC and DC, making it convenient for on-site and field testing.
The ZZC-1A DC resistance tester meets the requirements of DLT845.3-2004 "General Technical Conditions for Resistance Measurement Devices Part 3: DC Resistance Tester".
